Step 1: Clean your Eyebrows
Scrub eyebrow hair clean gently with a soft brush (tooth brush works great) to remove any oil or dirt. Wash your brows with a little clear face wash, clear shampoo, or wipe them well with alcohol wipes or witch hazel and allow them to dry. This will remove the oils trapped in your eyebrows and these oils can prohibit the paste from really attaching.
Step 2: Mixing Henna
Mix henna with just enough warm tap water (about 1/2 to 1 tsp of water per 1 tsp of powder) until you get a consistency of semi wet clay. You want it to be drier and thicker than normal so that it does not drip into your eyes.
Step 3: Applying Henna to Your Eyebrows
Apply the paste immediately to your eyebrow with a small brush 5. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes up to 1 hour.
Step 4: Removing Henna From Eyebrows
Rinse the paste out with water until the water runs clear. (An old toothbrush works great)
Tips: Do not wash with any soaps or shampoos for up to 48 hours.
